Trail Blazers Move up After Putting Down Clippers

LaMarcus Aldridge had 27 points and 12 rebounds, Brandon Roy added 23 points and the team moved up in the Western Conference playoff standings with a 98-85 victory over the LA clippers.
Head coach Nat McMillian stated that "We knew that they were very capable if you allow them to come around. We didn't want this game to go down to the wire and give Davis and Kaman any opportunities.
Marcus Camby had 2 points and 9 rebounds before he strained his right hamstring in the second half of the game.
"We need to get our second unit to step up a little more if we want to be successful in the playoffs," Roy said. "Being healthy is good, we have been able to build good chemistry with the starting lineup and again we just need to get our second unit to that level if we want to be successful.
